Student Choreography and Dance Performance Adjudications

Submit to: Your college's dance program director
Submissions should be made through your college instructor.
Eligibility: Any person enrolled in a “for credit” dance class at any Maricopa Community College during the 2007-2008 school year is eligible to participate through his or her local college.

Choreography
Categories: Solo and Group (Two or more)
Choreography must be original student work.
Time Limits:
- Solo – Minimum of 3 minutes; maximum of 5 minutes.
- Group – Minimum of 4 minutes; maximum of 10 minutes.
Prizes: Award goes to the choreographer.

Dance Performance
Categories: Solo and Group
Choreography may be by anyone.
Time Limits:
- Solo – Minimum of 3 minutes; maximum of 5 minutes.
- Group – Minimum of 4 minutes; maximum of 10 minutes.
Prizes: Award goes to the performers.

- First Place work in each category will be performed at the Artists of Promise performance scheduled for April 14 (rehearsal) and April 15 (performance), 2008 at the Orpheum Theater.
- All awards will be made at the Artists of Promise Performance on April 15, 2008.
