As of December 15, 2003, we have reached our maximum number of registered participants, so registration is now closed.

Festival Registration includes:

  1. National Assessment Fee ($10.00)
  2. Opening night reception
  3. Classes on days of the festival
  4. Ticket to Mothership: Dances of the Fluid Feminine (seating is limited)
  5. Tickets to all Informal Concerts
  6. Ticket to the Gala Concert on Tuesday night
  7. Awards Reception on Tuesday night

Teacher Interest Form

Please indicate if you or your colleagues have an interest in teaching at the ACDFA Southwest Regional Festival by completing this form. Duplicate this form as necessary. We may not be able to involve all who are interested, but we appreciate your response and we will be in contact with you as soon as possible regarding selections. Due to our budget, honoraria will not be possible.

Call for Accompanists Form

In anticipation of the festival we invite your most skilled musicians to participate, accompanying a few classes in exchange for festival registration. Due to budget restrictions, honoraria will not be possible. Interaction among dance accompanists will help to make very memorable master classes.

Sharing new ideas and good music will energize us all with a vitality we can take back to our own teaching! In addition, Rob Kaplan, composer, educator, performer, accompanist, and author of Rhythmic Training for Dancers (Human Kinetics) will be offering a class for dancers and musicians focused on the relationship between movement and music.

Feel free to copy the information form as necessary and quickly pass it to those of your musicians capable of bringing skill, expertise, sensitivity, and energy to the festival classes. Note the December 12th deadline and thank you for your help in making this a worthwhile festival for all of us.

Dance for the Camera Interest Form

Please complete this form if you would like to submit a film/video work for consideration for the Southwest Region Festival. We will request that a copy of the finished work be sent in VHS format by January 15th, 2004.
