Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) is located just 20 minutes southwest of Scottsdale Community College. 18 major airlines fly into Sky Harbor, and non-stop service is available to over 100 cities. America West Airlines and Southwest Airlines often provide lower fares than most other airlines and since they both have major hub operations in Phoenix they provide a large number of flights to many areas. All major companies offer rental cars available from the airport.

Driving Directions:

FROM PHOENIX SKY HARBOR AIRPORT:

  1. Head East on E SKY HARBOR BLVD ( 2.21 miles)
  2. Take the AZ-202-LOOP E toward TEMPE. (4 miles).
  3. Take the AZ-101-LOOP N – exit number 9. (1.49 miles).

TO THE COLLEGE:

  1. Follow the AZ 101-LOOP North for 4.26 miles
  2. Take the CHAPARRAL RD exit – number 46. (0.32 miles)
  3. Turn RIGHT onto E CHAPARRAL RD. (0.14 miles)
  4. Once on Chaparral Rd., the college will be on your left. Turn left at the first entrance into the campus, and then left at the first stop sign. Follow this drive past the theater (on your right.) Turn right at the stop sign after the theater and continue around to the back of the campus. Park near the tennis courts and follow signs to the dance building.

TO THE INN AT PIMA:

  1. Follow the AZ-101 LOOP N. (6.28 miles)
  2. Take the INDIAN BEND RD exit – number 44. (0.37 miles)
  3. Turn LEFT onto E INDIAN BEND RD. (0.59 miles)
  4. Turn RIGHT onto N PIMA RD. 0.29 miles
  5. The Inn at Pima will be on your left.
  6. FROM I-17: Exit I-17 to 202 East to 101 North. Follow directions above.
  7. FROM I-10 W: I-10 West to 60 East to 101 North. Follow directions above
  8. FROM I-10 E: Take 202 East to 101 North. Follow directions above.

  2. Merge onto AZ-101 LOOP N. (16.4 miles )
  3. Take the FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT BLVD exit- exit number 38- toward BELL RD. (0.3 miles )
  4. Stay straight to go onto N PIMA RD.(0.4 miles)
  5. Turn SLIGHT LEFT onto E FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT BLVD/N FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT BLVD.
  6. Continue to follow E FRANK LLOYD WRIGHT BLVD. (2.1 miles)
  7. Turn LEFT onto N SCOTTSDALE RD. (0.1 miles)
  8. The Sleep Inn will be on your right
  9. The address is: 16630 N Scottsdale Rd.

TO THE HAMPTON INN:

  1. Take the AZ-101-LOOP N Ð exit number 9. (1.49 miles).
  2. Merge onto AZ-101 LOOP N. (10.3 miles)
  3. Take the SHEA BLVD exit- exit number 41. (0.4 miles)
  4. Turn SLIGHT LEFT onto E SHEA BLVD. (2.0 miles)
