- 2004 Scottsdale Arts Festival- The 34th annual Scottsdale Arts Festival March 12-14, 2004--Held on the beautiful grounds of the Scottsdale Center for the Arts. Add to your art collection-purchase work from more than 175 nationally acclaimed artists, enjoy continuous live entertainment from 3 festival stages, savor the tasty treats from the Valley's culinary establishments and encounter creative fun in the Kids Area.
Old Town Scottsdale/Main Street Arts & Antique District- Stop and visit this important and unique downtown shopping area that features art and antique galleries along with fine restaurants and other exciting shops.- Scottsdale Pavillions- (Loop 101 and Indian Bend Rd, see map) The closest shopping center to Scottsdale Community College. Shopping, coffee, restaurants, movie theater, gas.
- Eldorado Park- Features both an 18-hole community golf course and a championship frisbee golf course. In addition there are two lakes and paved trails open to walking, bicycling, roller blading and volleyball courts are also available.
- Golf- Some of the nations best golf courses are waiting to be challenged.
- Casino Arizona- Two locations (101 & McKellips and 101 & Indian Bend) both have full service restaurants and many slot machines along with live entertainment.
- Scottsdale Fashion Square- The largest super-regional shopping center in Arizona at 1.8 million square feet, with over 225 specialty stores. Located at Scottsdale Rd and Camelback.
- The Phoenix Zoo / Desert Botanical Garden- (N. Galvin Parkway) Currently with five designated trails, it offers visitors sights of over 1300 animals from some of the worlds most beautiful and fragile ecosystems. Zoo opens 9-5 daily.
- Rawhide 1800šs Western Town- (23023 N. Scottsdale Rd.) This is Arizonašs largest Western themed attraction. It features rides, restaurants, cowboys and many specialty shops.
- Camelback Mountain- Sheer red sandstone cliffs and its telltale hump draw thousands of hikers to Camelback Mountain each year. The two main summit trails are strenuous climbs over sometimes-tricky trails. Some easier trails allow close-up exploration around Camelback's base.
- The Cine Capri- A 14-screen complex at Scottsdale Road and the Loop 101 in northeast Phoenix, that features the statešs largest traditional movie screen.
