Now in its thirteenth year, the Outstanding Music Performers Concert features the Chancellors Award winners in every category of the Scholarship competition. These solo and small group performances include the best of instrumental, vocal, composition and chamber ensembles.

Students from music programs throughout the district perform for adjudicators to determine the final scholarship winners that are featured in the performance.

About the Outstanding Music Performers Competition

Each year the Maricopa Community Colleges sponsor a competition for music students to enter in the following categories:Composition, Instrumental, Piano, Guitar, Instrumental Chamber Ensemble, Female Vocal, Male Vocal, and Vocal Chamber Ensemble. Scholarship awards are provided to those students who place in the competition. First Place winners in all categories are also provided the opportunity to showcase their talent in the Outstanding Music Performers' Concert.
