Workshop Details
Festival XXXVII workshops have been created to enrich participants' festival experience! Amidst the week's competitions that emphasize excellence in theatrical product, workshops celebrate a different aspect of the festival spirit: the gathering together to explore the process that leads to excellence.
In reviewing the workshops listed, note that sessions are labeled by general topics of interest:
- Performance: Acting and Directing
- Production: Design,Technologies and Management
- Playwriting
- Critics
Also, "core" sessions have been especially designed to enhance workshop-going by offering a variety of perspectives within the same topic. Check these out:
- for actors in "Auditioning Techniques"
- for designers/technicians in "The Business of the Business"
Plan early to take advantage of the opportunities to learn new skills, gain new viewpoints and meet new friends, all the while expanding an understanding of the art of the theatre!
Note: The reference number by each workshop allows for easy tracking when searching the Daily Schedule, Workshop Descriptions and Workshop Presenter Bios pages.
