HTML Blueprints | index | peek |Blueprints for Learning HTMLEverybody and their mother (well, not my mom) wants to create web pages. There is no shortage of excellent resources as well as a plethora of titles at any bookstore. We've received favorable response to our step-by-step tutorial Writing HTML in which you not only learn how to create web pages but also build a nifty lesson about Volcanos. The tutorial is designed for people that want to learn self-paced in a structured environment. This corner of our web is for those that want to learn HTML quickly by following some templates. In fact, the best way to learn HTML is to imitate (remember, it is the supreme form of flattery) the web pages that you like. Seeing the HTML behind a web page is easy to do if you follow our steps for HTML peeking. The templates are presented as a two column table, with the HTML listed on the left and explantory notes on the right. For each example, you can also pull up the web page as it appears. We cannot highly enough recommend the Yale C/AIM WWW Style Manual and the Sevloid Guide to Web Design. We also highly recommend About.com, HTML Goodies, gettingstarted.net, webreference.com, webTeacher, builder.com, projectcool's developerzone, webmonkey, WEBalley, or Web Review.
