What is a Dialogue Day?dialogue days in action...
Estrella Mountain faculty Bill Farrar (left) and Arthur Nonomura share their experiences in teaching hybrid courses at the Effective Teaching in a Hybrid Environment Dialogue Day . This event took place October 23, 2003 at Estrella Mountain and October 24 at Rio Salado College. More than 160 Maricopa faculty and staff participated in this repeated Dialogue Day. (see Effective Teaching in a Hybrid Environment Dialogue Day...) Dialogue Days are opportunities for Maricopa faculty to come together and share ideas on how to enhance teaching and learning. Organized in a variety of modes, Dialogue Days range from simple roundtable discussions to more elaborate "mini" conferences with hands-on or breakout sessions. The key element is that the topics are suggested by faculty and are relevent to current needs of teaching and learning.
