The members of the Reading Instructional Council invite you to the Reading Dialogue Day, Reading is NOT a Four Letter Word. Please join us for lunch and an afternoon dedicated to rejuvenation through conversations and reflection. We welcome your attendance as your expertise and contributions are extremely important to the success of this day.
Goals
Participants will
- Engage in conversations about best practices in reading instruction.
- Discuss the concept of reading as a discipline versus reading as a skill.
- Share insights into the latest research on reading instruction.
- Identify the role of reading in the community colleges.
- Network with peers throughout the Maricopa District.
