Members of the Reading Instructional Council invite you to the Reading Dialogue Day: Pretty Darn Good Practices in Reading: Affirming the Reading Teacher. Please join us for lunch and an afternoon dedicated to rejuvenation through conversations and reflection. We welcome your attendance as your expertise and contributions are extremely important to the success of this day.
This event will help full-time and adjunct faculty involved in teaching reading to students increase awareness and effectiveness in teaching the changing faces of community college students. Through conversations with colleagues, the Reading Instructional Council discussed the desire for reading instructors to come together from across the district. This dialogue day will give participants an opportunity to gain knowledge, share thoughts, generate ideas, and present effective practices in teaching reading.
