You can get very clean 7hz narration if you start with a studio quality One of my favorite tricks is to use the same background thruout the presentation but give it a different feel by using 2 Bit Black graphic overlays that have been set to varying degrees of transparency. A jagged edge overlay can totally change the look of the background and only add 5-10k to your projector.

Dealing with graphs in business I find that another space saver is to use lingo to draw the lines on a graph instead of having a different pict for each graph. With this method you can cram a LOT of charts into a single floppy and give the illusion of really jamming a lot of content onto the disk. This is great for animating the graphs as well.

Remember that we target Business. That means that we must develop for WIN and MAC at the same time. Windows projectors are usually 800k to 1 meg larger in size than Mac projectors.

If you are interested, you can see an example of our work by getting the NC Museum Tour on the Director Web demo page. This program fits onto a single floppy WITH an installer, and is crammed with sound, animation, data collection and form printing.
