About the speaker...
Prior to joining the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities, Ron Baker was the chief academic officer at a new community college where he directed the development of its outcomes-based curriculum. He served as a national facilitator for the 21st Century Learning Outcomes Project and as a consultant for the Learning College Project, both sponsored by the League for Innovation in the Community College. His experience in higher education includes service as the Director of Distance Education for the Oregon community colleges, full-time faculty responsibilities, and a variety of educational administrative positions. Ron Baker has just published Assessment in Context: A Systems Approach to Educational Effectiveness.
