We have about 30 spots left and next week will open up the invite to the masses via an ALLA1. http://www.maricopa.edu/webdev/fall96/index.html We are experimenting with possible use of the new "CoolTalk" technology that allows live audio (and video on the Mac) transmission so that if you are not at WebDev you can "listen" in. NetDay 96 This national effort to wire our schools systems is October 26th. NetDay is a nationwide project to provide Internet compliant wiring to K-12 schools. Get more info and volunteer to help with a school of your choice at: http://netday.well.com/ No technical expertise is required for this high-tech barn raising. Groups of volunteers will be lead by experienced team leaders. Have some fun, help our youth and get a first hand look at the infrastructure that makes the Web work. From the main page you can click on the arizona state to get local information. Although all of the Arizona schools are listed, they are not all participating- some may alyready be wired. From the information I got from the state coordinator, there are several schools in Chandler that are looking for volunteers (I signed up for "San Marcos Elementary"). I think if you sign up for ANYTHING they will try to set you up with a school where they need some help. Teach at ASU?
