Reminder: TCC 2005 Conference ==================== Like years past, Ocotillo is sponsoring an institutional registration for all Maricopa faculty (residential and adjunct), staff, and students to participate in the Teaching, Colleges, Community (TCC) 2005 Online Conference April 19-21, 2005. For this 10th year of this conference, the theme is "Looking Back Towards the Future?": ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- Since the 1970s, the impact of educational technology has been relentless and ever changing. What can we learn from our past? What's hot and what's not? Where are we going? What would we like to see? Through your experiences, we ask that you remind us, guide us, and help us navigate towards the future. Join us on our 10th anniversary of the TCC Worldwide Online Conference to share your expertise, experiences and knowledge relevant to the use of information technology in learning, teaching and academic services. This event will also be useful for novices and those interested in Internet resources for teaching and learning. It will provide a strong foundation about what's currently happening in higher education. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- This conference is offered in a flexible format that allows you to participate 24/7 in both synchronous and asynchronous activities. You get an opportunity to experience the online communication tools of LearningTimes. Just by registering, you will have access all year long to the papers and archives of the sessions. The posters, papers, and presentations are made available 2 weeks prior to the conference, allowing you to identify sessions of interest. In addition to ongoing asynchronous discussion boards, the conference has scheduled concurrent chat sessions with presenters as well as a live keynote speakers. Because of its international participation, there is something happening 24/7 during the conference-- you can choose the times and topics that interest you (and you do not have to "be there" all the time).
