Subject: ANNOUNCING: FIPP Interns 2004-2005

It is my pleasure to announce the selection of the 2004-2005 Faculty Interns for the Faculty In Progress Program (FIPP) and their mentors.

For 2004-2005, ten Faculty interns have been selected from a pool of 228 applicants that resulted from a national search.

FIPP is a 9-month internship designed to provide teaching experience, mentorship, and professional growth opportunities that result in knowledge and skills necessary to better prepare candidates to seek competitive employment in a residential teaching position at Maricopa. The focus of the program is on learning the multiple roles of faculty in the community college.
