Application Process for Technology-Based Learning
- Within 90 days of the date on the certificate complete the application for non-academic advancement (see myFPG for forms).
- The start date is the day the activity began. The end date is the date on the certificate.
- The description of professional growth enhancement should summarize the learning experience, the knowledge and skills gained, and how those skills will enhance academic responsibilities.
- A certificate of completion along with documentation necessary to explain hours awarded. A copy of the web page that explains this fact is sufficient for the committee. One CEU = 50 minutes unless otherwise indicated by the sponsoring organization.
- Have the Advancement Representative sign the application form.
- This application (original plus 10 copies, 11 copies total) is forwarded to the Faculty Professional Growth (FPG) Advancement sub-committee for review.
- Keep a copy for your records.
