This two day symposium will create a dialogue on the exploratory cross-cultural study of conflict resolution processes that take place within the context of Navajo peacemaking and mainstream adjudicator alternative dispute resolution. The symposium presenters include practicing traditional peacemakers within the Navajo Nation as well as academic scholars who have written on the topic of Navajo peacemaking and/or alternative dispute resolution.
