fellowships and exchanges: International & Intercultural Education (I&IE) China FellowshipdescriptionThe MCCD China Fellowship has been designed to allow faculty the opportunity to live, teach, and take classes while immersed in the Chinese culture. While in China, faculty will learn about topics such as history, the economy, and China's educational system. Faculty will also teach courses to students at Maricopa's partner institution, Wuyi University. If the discipline of the faculty is not part of the curriculum at Wuyi University, the faculty may be assigned teaching responsibilities in English, U.S. History, American Cultures, and other courses. The faculty will be housed in an international dormitory at Wuyi University and will have an opportunity to take classes such as Chinese Education, Geography of China, Chinese Language and Characters, and others. eligibilityParticipants must be residential faculty members. The president of each college may nominate one residential faculty member for the program each year. Funding is available to suport six Maricopa faculty each year.
