Integrated Learning Garden on the Web

As a 1995 Ocotillo project, we developed a web site with information about Integrated Learning Communities at the Maricopa Community Colleges. After brainstorming with Elizabeth Skinner (GWCC), Barbara Shovers (CGCC), and Linda Sullivan (MCLI), we came up with a visual metaphor of a prickly pear cactus. In its different forms, it illustrates the spectrum of types of learning communities and hopefully bears ³fruits² of student learning.

The site includes information on models and components of integrated learning communities, frequently asked questions, quotes from students, and a searchable list of Maricopa integrated learning communities.
