The Learning Grant funds for 2003-2004 projects have been awarded.
The application period that began on December 2, 2002 and closed on February 14, 2003 drew 82 proposals for a total value of $504,480. Faculty representing 9colleges submitted the proposals.
As of July 30, 2003, 39 proposals had been funded for a total of $184,466. The total number of dollars available was $185,000. The balance is being held in contingency to help offset the difference between project projections and real costs, e.g. speaker's travel.
