The Learning Grant funds for 2004 - 2005 projects have been awarded.
The application period that began on November 3, 2003 and closed on December 1, 2003 drew 65 proposals for a total value of $463,867. Faculty representing 9 colleges submitted the proposals.
As of June 1, 2004, 40 proposals had been funded for a total of $184,301.75. The total number of dollars available was $185,000. The balance is being held in contingency to help offset the difference between project projections and real costs, e.g. speaker's travel.
