This meeting was held at Scottsdale Community College on March 5, 1999 as the next step following the learning@maricopa.edu paper of October 1997. The format for the meeting is based upon the book Open Space Technology, A User's Guide by Harrison Owen.

Using the Open Space meeting format, the participants generated the following key issues and discussions that follow.

• Maintain hunger for knowledge
• How do we address - information, knowledge, understanding?
• Do grades reflect learning?

• What can we do to act on these Issues?
• Thoughts about this afternoon's process
