http://www.mcli.dist.maricopa.edu/learnshops/digital/ en-us ©2004-2006 Maricopa Community College District Examples of stories created by faculty participants in summer workshops on digital storytelling Alan Levine This workshop is an introduction of storytelling as a teaching and learning tool taught by Linda Kicks and Rachel Woodburn at Scottsdale Community College. We will explore the power of storytelling for teachers, students, and their connection to subject matter. We will guide teachers with interactive exercises identifying ways to find voice, place, and memory. Teachers will work through the process of creating their own digital stories while being introduced to desktop production tools. Each teacher will create a 3-5 minute digital story preserved onto DVD, CD, mini DV, and or VHS.
