Facilitator: Laura Ballard is currently the instructional designer and e-Learning coordinator for the Center for Teaching and Learning at GWCC. Laura has a long history with MCCD serving in past positions as Technology Development Coordinator in Technology Training Services at the District Support Services Center for the Maricopa Community Colleges and staff developer and trainer at Mesa Community College. Since completing her Masters' Degree in Learning and Instructional Technology at ASU in 2002, she has been with Maricopa Community Colleges working with faculty, staff, and administrators to elevate their instructional technology skills. She has designed and delivered several hybrid courses at ASU using Blackboard and has also been an online student. She also teaches English 102 at Gateway and MCC in an adjunct capacity.

About: Interested in finding free instructional audio and images to enhance your course? Interested in finding a way to personalize or humanize and online or hybrid course? Then come to this workshop where you will
- Learn how to locate images appropriate for your content or disciplinary area,
- Learn how to modify images using Web 2.0 sites with basic editing features,
- Make those images or audio clips available to students,
- Create an audio clip based on a brief script that they have written, and
- Use audio to create an animated character announcement.
Facilitator: Dr. Mary McGlasson. Dr. McGlasson, Economics faculty at Chandler-Gilbert, spent her 2007-2008 sabbatical year investigating and using Web 2.0 technologies as they apply to instruction, and is now working with Faculty Development at both CGCC and MCLI to share these tools with others who have an interest in integrating technology in their courses.
