He joined the faculty at Glendale Community College in August 2000, where he is the Open Entry/Open Exit Business Faculty Liaison for the Business & Information Technology Department.

Most recently, he was an information technology consultant at ASU West, where he worked with faculty to integrate technology into teaching and learning endeavors; their Virtual University project earned the Presidents Medal for Team Excellence and a Governors Recognition Award. Johns professional areas of interest continue to be the use of technology, and especially the Internet, in advancing business and higher education. His personal interests include photography, music, dancing, natural history, science fiction, outdoor sports, and travel. Those pursuits began at an early age in Ohio, but gained momentum with living in Greece, discovering the great American West, trekking to Everest base camp, and exploring other wonders of the world. John is currently enjoying life in Arizona, and the adventures of parenthood, with his wife Laura and 3-year old daughter Katie.
