8. Electronic Portfolio for Journeys into American Life, a Learning Community

During a summer institute this summer at CGCC, we developed a electronic portfolio system with TSS for implemenation in our classes. For my year-long learning community that pair First-Year Writing and American Literature, I developed an electronic portfolio project in which student will post their major assignments from both semesters, as well as shorter assignments of their choosing. Students revise their essays based on my comments and then tranform their essays into HTML documents complete with backgrounds and images to showcase their fine work. (last updated Aug 14, 2003)
