1. Developing the Writing Center to Enhance Student Success
The project was intended to help develop the writing center for students, tutors, and faculty. The grant provided assistance for the development of the Writing Center Newsletter, tutor training, and student workshops.

2. Movie Title Icebreaker/Diagnostic Writing Assignment
This icebreaker activity lets students choose a film title from a list of the top 100 films of all time to describe their attitude about writing (or any other topic you choose).

3. The Chandler-Gilbert Community College Writing Center Video Series
The project moved popular CGCC Writing Center workshops into a video format, which allows for more access. The workshops focused on writing effective thesis statements, proofreading and revising, and MLA and APA formatting.

4. The Intersection of Writing and Assessment: The Writing Program Adminstrators' Conference
My summer project involved my attending the Council of Writing Program Administrators Conference at the University of Alaska, Anchorage from July 6-11, 2005 to explore the ways assessment impacts writing and learning.
