Attendance at the 11th International Coral Reef Symposium. This symposium is held only once every four years; each time at a different international location. During the summer of 2008, the Symposium was held in Florida.

10. Archaeological Investigation at La Gila Encantada Site (Paradise Valley Community College)

The purpose of my project was to conduct an archaeological survey at a large Late Pithouse period (A.D. 550 - 1000) site, located in the Mimbres Valley, New Mexico. My research focused on prehistoric adaptations to arid environments and encompassed a multidisciplinary approach to human behavior.
