Student at computer The Business and Information Technology Department at Glendale Community College offers a wide variety of classes. We include the following areas: Accounting, Computers Applications, Computer Programming, General and International Business, Management, Marketing, Office Technology and Real Estate.

Carnella Hardin - Business and Information Technology Faculty Course are offered at a variety of times including day, night and weekends both at the Glendale College main campus at 6000 West Olive and at several other locations include the new Glendale North location at 59th Avenue and Happy Valley Road. Also we have flexible scheduling with our OE/SP (Open Entry / Self-paced) courses and Distance Learning courses. Ray Esparza


Ray Esparza started teaching at GCC in 1992 on a one year contract but returned as full-time faculty in 1995. He teaches networking and security courses. His specialty is operating systems like Microsoft Windows 2000 and 2003, Unix and Linux, and Novell Netware. His recent concentrations are Security courses.

Ray arranges 2 annual student field trips to the biggest computer exhibitions in Las Vegas every year. In the Spring (May) the field trip is to Interop and in November the field trip is to COMDEX.
