I'm Marla DeSoto, and I teach First-Year Composition in the English Department at Glendale Community College in Glendale, Arizona.  I also created and maintain several websites at the college. My kids, Tom and Megan, and my husband, Cory, are the most important people who share my life. Tom is 22 and a student at ASU majoring in Computer Science. My daughter, 20-year old Megan, is a sophomore at MCC.  She loves her cats, music, her friends and her family (most of the time!).  If you really want to know more about me, read my autobiography and my Finley-Shoemaker Family website.
