summary |
This is a self-contained set of instructions to create a functioning Visual Basic program. It is based on the need to calculate the commission earned by an employee who makes a sale and incorporates an input box and the calculation statements necessary to display the answer in the output box. |
details |
The course I teach has a small programming component and I wanted to teach my students an object-oriented programming language. Because it is short, we do not use books, but instead developed detailed instructions that can be followed by virtually any student with access to Visual Basic 6.0. It presents a scenario in which a salesman needs to be able to input the dollar amount of his or her sales and to be able to receive back from the program the dollar amount of the commission.
