summary	The Faculty Orientation to Online Teaching CD explains the skills and materials necessary for Instructors to be successful preparing and facilitating an online course.
details	The Faculty Orientation to Online Teaching CD contains approximately 1½ hours of engaging, interactive, multimedia content. The program incorporates video, audio, web pages, documents, presentations, and online demonstrations. The Faculty program focuses on the following: • Training opportunities and learning resources available to online instructors • Defining and communicating course design and delivery expectations • Identifying components of quality online courses, and corresponding resources to create them • Providing course development tools, including online course syllabi and quality checklists • Making available preformatted Blackboard course templates to guide and facilitate course design and development The links include here are only a few examples of content from the Orientation program.
