Description This is the fourth module of our Photoshop Elements 2.0 training series. This module covers selections and transformations of images. Being able to select precisely what you want out of a picture gives users tremendous power. These skills, coupled with the knowledge of how to use Elements' transformations give faculty an edge as they edit and create images to help their students learn. Purpose These materials were developed to help residential and adjunct faculty at SMCC to become familiar with Adobe Photoshop Elements® 2.0. As part of a Title V - Developing Hispanic Serving Institutions Grant Program, SMCC has developed technology training workshops. These workshops are used to familiarize faculty with how to integrate technology into instruction. Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Photoshop Elements are two state of the art graphics design programs. This series of modules was developed to provide faculty with ability to manipulate images and to create new ones to enrich their course materials. Outcomes The outcomes for the Adobe Photoshop Elements training workshops have been that we see more and more faculty using graphics to enhance their classes. Faculty feel empowered because they can edit existing graphic images as well as create ones specific to their purpose(s). Note!
