summary

The Questor game is a fast paced quiz-like question and answer game platform.

details

The Questor game was originally developed using Macromedia Flash for the MATEC semiconductor manufacturing modules as an interactive learning tool. To edit the game files, it required one of MATEC's multimedia staff to modify the Flash files.

It has been recently updated with an easy-to-use interface that allows anyone to quickly create their own learning game files.

The Questor game is embedded in many of MATEC's advanced technology modules, it has also proven effective as an interactive lecture and presentation tool.

Fantastic game; smooth, polished, and fun. Question: Can you port it over to Linux? I'm a professor and have switched some of my classes over to Linux, and would love to use Questor in them.

Using the Jeopardy Game for Fun Learning!

The Questor Game available through MCCD is a program similar to the Jeopardy game on television. This is a visual game that students are familiar with. The game is fun learning when you have students break up into groups and compete with other groups for the answers. You can easily type in questions and answers. The screen is similar to the Jeopardy game. This game can be used for any course. I have used it an all of my sociology courses. Some of my colleagues have used it in the math courses.
