summary	This flash file allows you to select a random number between 1 and any number entered- we created this for a prize drawing for the Ocotillo Online Learning Group's door prize, but it could be used for any situation where you want a web tool for picking a number (e.g. assigning groups, etc)
details	For the 2003-2004 year, the Ocotillo Online Learning Group begain offering door prizes to the meeting participants that put their name up on the signin sheet. Each line on the sheet is numbered, so we created this flash file to have a field for entering a total number (N), and then the ability to have the computer flash random numbers between 1 and N before finally picking a final number fo display. Although designed for this meeting purpose, this could be used in class actiivities where you might need to have a fun display tool for picking numbers (better than little pieces of paper in a hat!) An updated version (February 2004) now has logic built in to remove a number once it has been selected, to ensure unique random numbers. Also, the chosen numbers are now displayed on the screen.
