| 8. List and describe your center's most successful programs/initiatives in the last year. How did they lead to improved teaching or learning? Provide URLs if relevant.
The STAR program is a model for using student resources to address needs of faculty in the teaching and learning context. They were able to respond to a variety of requests from photography/web development to assisting during summer institutions for faculty and working in the classroom. They are also equipped to assist the instructional technologist with a variety of duties.

| 9. What are the most important issues / initiatives your center is facing this year? What are your significant challenges?
We may face a change of venue. The center is too far from faculty as it is and would be favorable to move closer but space constrains may be prohibitive. We are also looking at changing the requirements for STAR students to move them along with their careers as opposed to staying in the program past two years.
