New items on the Ocotillo Chairs' Web. Request for Labyrinth article (1 paragraph from each campus)
Next issue of MCLI's Labyrinthh/Forum will have a theme of ÒWhoÕs Doing What with TechnologyÓ. Manny and Alan thought it would be a good idea to list what each Roundtable is doing by having the chair write a short paragraph about whatÕs going on at their colleges and how they can get involved and were Ocotillo fits in to technology planning. The paragraphs should be submitted by the end of September.

Ted has completed his paragraph and is willing to share his with the group. Alan will forward to chairs via a1.

Update by each campus of activities since last meeting

Discussion of Development of a timeline by each campus
Timeline - everyone should put it on their web site, that would be helpful to Manny and Alan - they are willing to attend meetings at campuses.

Do we want to be working towards some basic common elements of MCCCD technology plans or do we want to make sure we are hitting all the important areas of support, access, faculty development, web course tools, and hardware/software replacement budget etc.?

Ed-Tech planning - concepts only not so cut and dried [clustered into groups that can be used as our list of working ideas and contacts for that]

Discussion of plans for Alan and/or Manny to visit each campus (during a campus meeting or individual meeting with faculty chair
Just let us know where and when!

A Monroe County Community School Corporation Technology Skills/Interest/Needs assessment tool that may be useful for use by our colleges; also the "Computer Efficiency" article sent by MCLI
For those chairs who are planning on doing a survey, there is one out there that you might want to look at the one done by the Monroe County Community College Corporation ... if you print it, you must give them credit for use.
