Before determining how we want to do technology planning, our first step was to research other college technology plans. During the summer of 1997, we assembled a list of on-line plan documents, and each faculty chair selected one to research. They provided a summary via our web form that was added to the collection.

Getting Started

• National Center for Technology Planning is a central resource for technology planning. From this site, we downloaded the "Guidebook for Technology Planning" shared with each college fauclty chair at the 1997 Ocotillo Retreat. This site lists quite a few on-line planning documents.

• Use the IT Plan Review Form to submit your report
• Look at the reviews submitted so far.
