Dial 517-8900 and select 1 from the options. Once that has been accomplished, it will ask you to enter your conference#, which is 6254. The system will then prompt you to say your name and will enter it into the conference.If anyone has any questions or concerns, please feel free to A1 or call Tracy Price at 731-8296.To hear a recorded conference for those students/faculty/etc. who may not have been able to make the conference, they would dial in and use option 3 instead of 1 and it will ask them to enter the conference # [6254]. This will enable them to listen to the conference for up to 2 months after the teleconference date.
A few features that you may want to use in your conference are:
- To do roll call and see who has entered the conference you would press: #[Pound Key] 2 Note: Only the person who does this will hear roll call not anyone else in the conference. So if everyone wants to know they must each press #2.
- To mute your phone when you are in a conference press: #[Pound Key] 5 to unmute the phone you would press #5 again.
- To record a meeting press: #[Pound Key] 6 then press 1 to stop recording #6 then press 1 again.
- To break out of sessions for a private mini conference with someone else in the conference press: #[Pound Key] 1 then choose 1-9 by pressing 1 thru 9 (Note: Remember to tell the person what session to breat out to for example session 4). Others will hear what you have asked the person(s) to break out to so you may want to do roll call to make sure no one who wasn't supposed to enter the break out session isn't in the session univited to return to the main conference press 0.
