Web Courseware Demos

January 15, 1999 : Blackboard CourseInfo
is a web course management systems suitable for individual teachers, multimple classes, or an entire institution. It offers an intuitive interface and is designed to work with the specifications of the Instructional Management Systems Project. We will have repeated demos of this 9:30 at GateWay Community College and 1:00PM at Scottsdale Communtiy College.
December 8, 1998 : POLIS
Phoenix College, Paradise Valley, and South Mountain have been using this faculty-oriented tool developed at the University of Arizona. We will learn about what this tool offers in comparison to others such as webCT.
October 15 & 16, 1998 : Academic Systems Demos
Academic Systems will demonstrate their interactive Math and English software at the City Colleges Center (Rio and PV are using the Math package after seeing last year's demo). Phoenix College and Mesa Community College have been using webCT for some time; we will arrange for some presentations and discussions of the merits of this package. Also, we have arrange to remotely conference with the software's developers from Vancouver, B.C.
