From these and initial discussions of the 2002-2003 Ocotillo chairs, the following are marked for action items:

• A Maricopa system wide notation for hybrid courses. At their June 2002 meeting, the Deans of Instruction agreed with the concept and asked Ocotillo for a proposed list of definition of "icons" that could be used in catalogs for the Spring 2003 semester (deadline to do this is early October 2002).
• Under Shared Services, the Technology Leadership Council has asked for a joint meeting with Ocotillo to discuss strategies for developing a "standard" for course management systems. [pending item]
• The Ocotillo Chairs will expand efforts to support the Maricopa Learning eXchange as a learning object library and coordinate the activities of the Spring 2003 Technology Dialogue Day to connect with MLX.
