description:
Students in Buried Cities and Lost Tribes classes and Bones, Stones and Human Evolution are required to study and then share what they have learned in the form of a creative project. These result in powerpoint and digital movie presentations that reflect the depth to which students can take learning. The value of these projects is felt during the period in which they are presented to classes. Students often reflect on the meaningfulness of the experience. Examples of these projects will be presented. Some of these projects have been incorporated into course work.
More details and presentation materials are available in the Maricopa Learning eXchange package for this session.
