I've decided to eschew the use of Blackboard (Bb) as a course management system (CMS). While Bb and WebCT offer many features that are quite wonderful, they are both expensive (and getting more so) and are limiting in their own way.

I'm using an electronic portfolio as my CMS and am interested in exploring some of the Open-Source solutions.
