Wireless Projection: Untether Yourself!

This will demo wireless projection from a tablet PC using a device called a Komatsu Air Projector. It attaches to the VGA input of a projector, commonly a wall jack in classrooms equipped with a projector. A small client runs on a tablet PC that communicates wirelessly with the AirProjector, which sends the screen image to the projector. This setup completely untethers the instructor from the instructor computer and allows roaming throughout the room and allows students to demonstrate from their seats. In a computer classroom, the latest version also allows the display of a screen from a selected computer.

This can be set up in a computer classroom as long as there is a projector, or as an open demo. As an open demo, the capability in the last sentence of the paragraph above cannot be demonstrated.
