We have intiated a partnership between MIT and the Maricopa Community Colleges with the projects MIT is making available as part of the iCampus Outreach project:

Like an extension of MIT's Open CourseWare Initiative, which provides MIT course content as free, open content available to anyone in the world, iCampus is aiming to do the same with interactive technologies developed at MIT, including:
* Remote access to laboratory equipment
* On-line lectures and exercises in computer science
* Visualizations in electromagnetism
* Collaborative design in mechanical engineering
* Web-administered writing examinations
* Domain specific gesture recognition in Tablet PCs
We will provide a self-running presentation and links to demos of some of the available iCampus tools. Please let us know your interest, as Phil Long will be visiting Maricopa on May 26 or May 27, 2005, to share more about iCampus and to answer your questions.
