Welcome to Ocotillo Retreat 1993 The theme for this year's Ocotillo retreat is Home Improvement. We have planned workshops and discus- sions that focus on how our Maricopa family can use technology "tools" to enhance teaching and learningas well as to improve productivity within our Maricopa "home." The agenda for the retreat indudes morning and afternoon sessions. During the morning, there will be five workshop tracks for Department/Division Chairs, Student Services, Faculty, Students, and Administrators. Presenters will describe different technology tools used by people in each track and will discuss issues related to utilization. We encourage you to attend and participate in the workshops. In the aftemoon, there will be five discussion groups offered simultaneously: Delivey of Instruction Student Services Issues Network Conferencing Information Resources Access. You are welcome to attend any of the sessions. You will have the opportunity to interact with peers and dialogue about howcertain technology tools are being used to address these five areas and needs similar to ones you may have. We hope the Ocotillo 1993 Home mpouement is a fruitful and meaningful experience, and that as a result of your participation, you are able to develop a plan or "blueprint" for how to usetechnology tools in your own environment. ------------------------------------------------- ©1993 Maricopa Center For Learning and Instruction (MCLI), Maricopa Community Colleges
