One of our activities to promote "mingling" was to have folks barter for items they would choose to store in their Y2K bunker.

Y2K... Are You Ready?
You have all heard enough about preparing for Y2K, so let's do something about it! Your assignment is to wheel, deal, and trade for a set of five crucial items that you will take with you into your Y2K Bunker. These items may be food, supplies, things to do to pass the time, and useful persons to have around in case of emergency.

Below is your starting list of items, selected at random from our master list. You can increase your odds of survival by trading items. To encourage you to do so, we have set up the rule that for every trade between listed items, each party ends up with double the amount traded. For example, if Dr. de los Santos trades his one crate of tortillas for Mr Bleed's box of Rolling Stones CD's, Alfredo ends up with two boxes of CD's and Ron gets two crates of tortillas!

Everytime you trade, cross the item from your list and enter than name of the person you traded it to. When you receive something for a trade, write the item on a new line and list who you received it from.

There is a chance of winning valuable prizes!
