evaluation summary
1. Overall, how would you rate this program?

   | | Excellent       |X| Good       | | Fair       | | Poor

The humor using Albert Einstein, Amelia Earhart, and Thoreau was good. The dream sequence was a nice touch and I felt there was good prompting to elicit student thinking and action.

2. Please describe specific strengths, weaknesses, and/or limitations of the program.
Great introducton, but it did have a weakness in transition from program to journal; students need support here. Excellent visuals. Strengths: Good overall explanations, talent inventory good. Weaknessess: Too much assessment on examples in program, too much dependency on personal journal.

Ideas For Uses of the Software
Uses in the classroom:
How would you use this program or a particular part of this program in a classroom lesson? (List and explain the specific steps you would do so that another faculty member could clearly understand how to use this program in the classroom)

  1. Use as a primary puzzle piece for the career exploration process.
  2. Class assessment of overall career and personal issues (group).
  3. Outside lab assignment for interest inventory and personal assessment after having used the program examples in class discussion and analysis.
  4. Projected on screen with Persuasionª/hardware. Then have students respond in a group or paper.
  5. Also could be used in a self-esteem class.
Uses in the Client Counseling:
How would you use this program in a client counseling situation? (List and explain the specific steps you would do so that another counselor could clearly understand how to use this program in a client setting)

Individual Career Counseling could be useful although most individual work is done in a journal, I think. Is there a self-resulting feedback on the computer?
