Evaluating the Program as a Tool for Teaching and Learning


  1. How would you use this program in your class? Identify a specific application for part of your curriculum (if possible).
    For the lower IBS classes, it would be a great team project during chapters dealing with forming governments and for IBS 150, a culmination exercise at semesters end.
  2. How could this program be used for teaching and learning in other disciplines?
    Good for history and political science courses.
  3. How effective was the simulation environment in providing an enhanced learning experience?
    Excellent - I want to play more!

    Lack of monetary emphasis and business focus.

    Yes - entertaining, comprehensive, true-to-life.

Additional Comments
Please upgrade this for a business instructional use. If the monetary and statistical results of decisions could be printed out for analysis - then business courses could design class discussions around Hidden Agenda. A nice variation of this software would be to place a MNE in a country such as Chimerica and have the player be the CEO making decisions based on what politically and economically is happening in the country.
