You may have been successful or not in any of the three previous examples (none of which are real, but are loosely modeled from actual sites!)-- we wanted you to consider the value of the experience.

For starters, think about the following questions:

  1. How meaningful were the activities?
  2. Was this something that could only be done on the web? Did it take true advantage of the web's capabilities?
  3. Was it clear where the activities fit into the context of a particular course?
  4. Was the level of direction appropriate? Where there assumptions about skills? about using particular technologies?
  5. Was there any sense of purpose once I left the assignment page? When would I know to return?
  6. Were there means to get help? feedback?
As you think about these, you may want to share your ideas on our web discussion board.

Now we will tell you about our four flavors of using the web as a learning tool.
